Definition of To stop / To cease

One says: mā fati'tu af'alu kadhā and mā fata'tu, like saying mā ziltu (I have not ceased).

The Almighty says: 'They said: By Allah, you will not cease remembering Joseph' (Yusuf 85), meaning you will not stop mentioning him.
