What is meant by this in the preamble of Khulasat al-Hisab is Ali, Fatima, al-Hasan, and al-Husayn, may Allah Taala be pleased with them, because the relation of al-Hasan and al-Husayn to Ali, may Allah ennoble his face, is like their relation to the lady of Paradise, Fatima al-Zahra, may Allah Taala be pleased with her, and vice versa. That relation is the relation of parentage.
