Al-mfawḍa according to Kitab at-Ta'rifat (Al-Jurjani)

A partnership of equals in property, disposal and debt.

Al-mfawḍa according to Al-Kulliyat (Al-Kafawi)

Al-mfawḍa according to Mu'jam al-Mustalahat al-Fiqhiyya

Abu Khirash al-Hudhali said (a verse on those adorning themselves with blood at the edge of death): that is, they adorn themselves in war with shed blood.
