Al-nafḥu according to An-Nihaya (Ibn al-Athir)

Striking and throwing.

Al-nafḥu according to Dustur al-'Ulama (Al-Ahmadnagari)

The blowing of a pleasant wind and striking with the foot. It is said that the she-camel kicked when she struck with her foot, as well as striking with the edge of the hoof.

Al-nafḥu according to Mu'jam al-Mustalahat al-Fiqhiyya

The infah - with a kasra on the hamza and a light fatha on the fa -: the abomasum of a lamb or kid as long as it has not eaten; if it eats, then it is a stomach (according to Abu Zayd). It is also the manfah - with a kasra on the mim -. The rajaz poet said: How much liver and infah I have eaten... then I stored away a sliced tail. There is a third dialectal form: the kasra on the hamza with a tashdid on the ha, reported by Yaqub.
