Definition Al-njarya

Al-njarya according to Kitab at-Ta'rifat (Al-Jurjani)

The followers of Muhammad ibn al-Husayn al-Najjar. They agree with the People of the Sunnah regarding the creation of actions, that the capacity (istita'ah) accompanies the action, and that the servant acquires his action. They agree with the Mu'tazilites in denying existential attributes (sifat wujudiyyah), the temporal origin of speech, and the denial of the vision of Allah.

Al-njarya according to Dustur al-'Ulama (Al-Ahmadnagari)

The followers of Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Najjar. They agree with the Mu'tazilites in denying the existential attributes, the temporal origin of speech, and the denial of the vision of Allah, and they agree with the People of the Sunnah regarding the creation of actions and that the capacity accompanies the action.

Al-njarya according to At-Tawqif (Al-Munawi)

The followers of Abu al-Hasan al-Najjar. They agreed with the People of the Sunnah regarding the creation of actions and with the Mu'tazilites regarding the denial of attributes and the vision of Allah (compare with al-Ta'rifat, page 259).
