Three hundred and fifty-four days and a known portion of a day, namely ten parts of twenty-one parts of a day; the solar year thus exceeds the lunar year by eleven days and one part of twenty-one parts of a day. As for the reckoning of the days of the year, there is a divergence which will come under kusr, God willing.
It is three hundred and fifty-four days and a sixth of a day; the solar year exceeds the lunar year by ten, and three, and a quarter of thirteen days, by approximation, according to the opinion of Ptolemy.
