Definition I'ada

I'ada according to Dustur al-'Ulama (Al-Ahmadnagari)

I'ada according to Mu'jam al-Mustalahat al-Fiqhiyya

Lexically: repetition; redoing the hadith: repeating it; thus doing the thing a second time. Among Allah’s names: al-Mou’id: He who recreates creation after annihilation; Allah said: « as We began the first creation, We repeat it ».

I'ada according to At-Tawqif (Al-Munawi)

Repetition; redoing a thing, as the hadith, is repeating it; hence redoing the prayer.

I'ada according to At-Ta'rifat al-Fiqhiyya (Al-Barkati)

What is done at performance’s time a second time, for a flaw in performance. In al-Bazdawi: « the i’ada: coming like the first per the perfection’s quality ».
