Jabarut according to Mu'jam al-Mustalahat al-Fiqhiyya

It is faboulouta of jabr, which is might; said: I compelled and coerced, meaning subdued. In the hadith: « then comes moulk and jabrout »: power and might. In at-Tahdhib of al-Azhari what suggests jabrouta with hamza for man, the hamza’s addition signaling the attribute’s addition and renewing: the hamza dividing Allah’s attribute from man’s.
