📖 3 min readThe horse in the race: it arrived as a musalli. It is the second in the race. Such a person: he supplicated. It is said: salla alayhi: he supplicated for good for him. And in the Glorious Quran: ﴿Take from their wealth a charity by which you purify them and cause them increase, and invoke blessings upon them. Indeed, your invocations are reassurance for them. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing﴾ (At-Tawba: 103). He performed the prayer. Allah upon His Messenger: He encompassed him with His blessing, and in the Mighty Quran: ﴿Indeed, Allah and His angels confer blessing upon the Prophet. O you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [ Allah to grant him] peace﴾ (Al-Ahzab: 56). As-sala: the side of the tail to its right and left. They are the two solan. The middle of the back of the human and of mounts. Plural: asila. As-salah: the invocation. Plural: salawat. Mercy. Seeking forgiveness. Blessing. The church. And in the Mighty Quran: ﴿And were it not that Allah checks the people, some by means of others, there would have been demolished monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques in which the name of Allah is much mentioned. And Allah will surely support those who support Him. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might﴾ (Al-Hajj: 40). In the Sharia: an expression for specific pillars, known remembrances, with restricted conditions, at estimated times. (Al-Jurjani). The thing: soliyan: he threw it into the fire. And it is said: salat an-nar, and in it, and upon it. And it is said: salat al-adhab, or al-hawan, or adh-dhull. The meat: he roasted it. The game, and for him: he set traps for him. And it is said: salla fulanan, and salla lahu: he plotted against him to make him fall into evil.
