Text of the hadith
On the authority of Abu Hourayra (may Allah be pleased with him), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: « Every joint of a man owes a charity each day the sun rises: rendering justice between two persons is a charity; helping a man with his mount, lifting him onto it or placing his belongings upon it, is a charity; a good word is a charity; every step taken toward the prayer is a charity; removing from the road what harms is a charity. » Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim.
