Definition of Ghṭā

Al-ghita': what is put on top of something like a lid.

As al-ghisha' is what wraps it.

The Almighty says: 'We have removed your cover' (Qaf 22).

On Judgment Day, sight will be sharp.

Those whose eyes had been within a cover [removed] from My remembrance, and they were not able to hear.
