Definition of Sāq

Sawq al-ibil: gathering and driving camels.

One says: I drove them and they followed.

As-sayiqa: what is driven ahead.

The Almighty says: 'And the sky will be brought' (Az-Zumar 71): the people of Paradise will be led there honorably.

As-saq: the leg. 'When the leg will be intertwined with the leg' (Al-Qiyama 29) refers to the agony of death.

Surah An-Naml : 44 Meccan

﴿قِيلَ لَهَا ٱدْخُلِى ٱلصَّرْحَ ۖ فَلَمَّا رَأَتْهُ حَسِبَتْهُ لُجَّةًۭ وَكَشَفَتْ عَن سَاقَيْهَا ۚ قَالَ إِنَّهُۥ صَرْحٌۭ مُّمَرَّدٌۭ مِّن قَوَارِيرَ ۗ قَالَتْ رَبِّ إِنِّى ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِى وَأَسْلَمْتُ مَعَ سُلَيْمَـٰنَ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ﴾

She was told, "Enter the palace." But when she saw it, she thought it was a body of water and uncovered her shins [to wade through]. He said, "Indeed, it is a palace [whose floor is] made smooth with glass." She said, "My Lord, indeed I have wronged myself, and I submit with Solomon to Allah, Lord of the worlds."

﴿يَوْمَ يُكْشَفُ عَن سَاقٍۢ وَيُدْعَوْنَ إِلَى ٱلسُّجُودِ فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ﴾

The Day the shin will be uncovered and they are invited to prostration but the disbelievers will not be able,
