Definition of Rda

Al-rid': one who follows another to help him.

Allah says: 'My brother Harûn, he is more eloquent than me, send him as an assistant (rid'an)' (Al-Qasas: 34).

Moses asked for Harûn as support in his mission.

And my brother Aaron is more fluent than me in tongue, so send him with me as support, verifying me. Indeed, I fear that they will deny me."
