The complete prophetic sira of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): from his birth and noble lineage to his mission and call, then the Hijra, the military expeditions, the conquest of Mecca, the farewell pilgrimage and his death. Our primary source is al-Bidaya wa Nihaya by the imam Ibn Kathir: we present the events of the sira arranged in their chronological order, in 68 events so far.
The sira: what is it?
The sira is the story of the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), from his birth to his death: his noble lineage, his birth and upbringing, then his mission and his call to Islam, the harm he and his companions endured from the polytheists, his Hijra to Medina, his military expeditions and detachments, the conquest of Mecca, and finally the farewell pilgrimage and his death (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). For this presentation we relied on the book al-Bidaya wa Nihaya (The Beginning and the End) by the imam and hafiz Ibn Kathir, one of the most important sources in Islamic history and the prophetic sira, known for its precision, verification and reliance on trustworthy sources.
