Alard almyta according to Al-Qamus al-Fiqhi

It is the earth that has dried up, whose vegetation has withered. In the Quran: [Ya-Sin, 33: 'And a sign to them is the dead earth: We made it live and brought forth from it grain, and of it they eat.']. Al-mi ta: the state and the manner. One says: he died a good death.
