Asking for a thing for hire; it is then used for taking it for hire; in the Qur'an: 'father, hire him (asta'jir-hu); the best one to hire is the strong, the trustworthy' (al-Qasas, 26). In the Mejelle (art. 404): hiring (al-ikhtirar).
