Definition Alathath

Alathath according to Al-Qamus al-Fiqhi

The house's furnishing: bedding and the like. Wealth altogether: camels, sheep, slaves, equipment, and other; in the Qur'an: 'how many a generation We destroyed before them, better in furnishings (athathan) and appearance' (Maryam, 74), that is, they had more wealth and fairer forms. Plural athath; its singular athatha. Al-Farra' and Ibn Faris said it has no singular from its own word.
