Definition Al-danq

Al-danq according to Mu'jam al-Mustalahat al-Fiqhiyya

An arabized word: the sixth of a dirham; among the Greeks it is a carob seed, for their dirham is twelve carob seeds. The Islamic danq: two seeds and a third of a seed, for the Islamic dirham is sixteen seeds.
