Alghra fy alwdw according to Al-Qamus al-Fiqhi

Among the Shafi'is: the washing of a part of the front of the head, or of what extends beyond the face, over and above the portion whose washing is obligatory. Al-ghirra: heedlessness. (plural) ghurar. Al-gharur: everything that deceives man: wealth, rank, desire, a human being, or a devil. In the glorious Quran: [Fatir, 5: 'O mankind, the promise of Allah is true; let not the life of this world deceive you, and let not the arch-deceiver deceive you concerning Allah.']. Al-maghrur: passive participle. Among the Hanafis: the man who had intercourse with a woman believing her lawful to him by possession of the right hand or by marriage, and she bore a child, and she then turned out not to have been lawful. Al-gharghara: the rattling of the soul in the throat. Such a one incurred a liability (gharima), in the forms gharman and gharaman: he became bound by what is not incumbent upon him. One says: he paid the blood-money or a debt: he discharged it for another. In trade: he suffered loss.
