Alkhla malq according to Al-Qamus al-Fiqhi

(See k h l '). Al-mu'allaqa: the woman whom her husband neither consorts with nor divorces. In the Quran: [an-Nisa, 129: 'You will never be able to do perfect justice between wives even if it is your ardent desire; so do not incline altogether to one, so as to leave the other like a suspended one (ka-l-mu'allaqa). If you do good and keep from wrong, Allah is forgiving and merciful.']
