📖 1 min readArda someone: to bring him down; to ruin him, destroy him. In the Noble Quran: 'Then he looked and saw him in the midst of Hell. He said: by Allah! You almost ruined me (turdini). Had it not been for the favour of my Lord, I would have been among those brought forth' (As-Saffat, 55-57).
