Do not kill game (sayd) while you are in the state of consecration' (Al-Ma'idah, 95). In legal terms: the wild beast, lawful, unowned (al-Husayn al-San'ani). According to the Hanafis: the wild beast, naturally shy by its original creation, whether by its legs or its wings, edible or not, and which can only be taken by stratagem.
