To ask Allah pardon of one's sin, or of one's sin, or of one's sin: to ask Him to forgive it. In the Quran: [an-Nisa, 110: 'Whoever does evil or wrongs his own soul, then seeks forgiveness of Allah, will find Allah forgiving and merciful.']
