Definition Athab

Athab according to Al-Qamus al-Fiqhi

The thing: to repeat it, bring it back. Someone: to reward him, requite him; in the Qur'an: 'God rewarded them (athaba-hum) for what they said with gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein: that is the recompense of the doers of good' (al-Ma'ida, 85).
