📖 1 min read'Baraza': to appear after concealment; in the Qur'an: 'the Day the earth is changed into other than the earth, and the heavens, and they come forth (barazu) to God, the One, the Overpowering' (Ibrahim, 48). One says baraza la-hu: to step out from his company to fight him; in the Qur'an: 'when they went forth (barazu) before Goliath and his hosts they said: our Lord, pour out patience upon us, make firm our steps, and grant us victory over the disbelieving people' (al-Baqara, 250).
