Definition Hakmh

Hakmh according to Al-Qamus al-Fiqhi

Hakamah (resorting to arbitration) to Allah, the Most High, to the Book or to the judge: to dispute with him and call upon him to decide. Hakkamahu: to have him judge. Hakama someone in a thing, a matter: to make him his arbiter and entrust the decision to him. In the Noble Quran: 'No, by your Lord! They will not believe until they make you arbiter of what they dispute among themselves, then find in themselves no discomfort at what you have decided, and submit fully' (An-Nisa', 65).
