Definition Harbh

Harbh according to Al-Qamus al-Fiqhi

To wage war against him (harabaha), in muharabah or hiraban: to fight him. Harabaha Allah: to disobey Him. In the Noble Quran: 'The recompense of those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive to spread corruption in the land is that they be killed, or crucified, or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides, or that they be banished from the land: that is their disgrace in this world, and in the Hereafter a great torment awaits them' (Al-Ma'idah, 33). Sa'id ibn Jubayr and al-Hasan said: waging war against Allah means disbelief in Him. And the majority (al-jumhur) interpreted it, in this verse, as the one who cuts the road against the people, whether Muslim or unbeliever.
