Al-kall: one who has neither child nor father; one who is dependent upon another; in the Quran: "Allah has struck the likeness of two men: one dumb, powerless over anything, ever a burden (kall) upon his master: wherever he directs him he brings no good: is he equal to one who enjoins justice and stands on a straight path?" (al-Nahl 16:76); the weighty one bearing no good; the weak; the dependents; the orphan. Al-kull: a word used for total inclusion according to the context; its form is singular and its meaning collective; one says: "all came" (kull hadara) and "kull hadaru", in form and meaning.
