📖 1 min readAllah, in the form la'nana: to drive him out and put him far from good. In the Quran: [al-Ahzab, 64: 'Allah has cursed the disbelievers and prepared for them a blaze.']. He is then mal'un. (plural) mala'in. A man is la'in and a woman la'in; if the described one is not mentioned, one says la'ina. Such a one upon another: to say to him: the curse of Allah be upon you. Such a one: to revile him and shame him; he is then the curser and the cursed.
