Definition Mka al-mkrma

Mka al-mkrma according to Mu'jam Lughat al-Fuqaha

The greatly venerated town; God Most High named it in the Qur'an by four names: Makka, al-balda (the town), and umm al-qura (mother of towns); in it are the Sacred Mosque and the Ka'ba. (Mekkah.) Al-maktab, with fatha and sukun, plural makatib: the place where writing is done, hence the school teaching penmanship; a place where businessmen or employees work. (Office.) Al-muktasab, with fatha on the sin: passive participle of iktasaba the thing when he acquired it.
