Definition Shawrh

Shawrh according to Al-Qamus al-Fiqhi

Shawarah in the matter, in mushawarah or shawaran: to seek his opinion about it. In the Noble Quran: 'It is by mercy from Allah that you are gentle with them. Had you been harsh and hard of heart, they would have dispersed from around you. So pardon them, seek forgiveness for them, and consult them in the matter. Then, when you have resolved, rely upon Allah. Indeed Allah loves those who rely upon Him' (Al 'Imran, 159). Ash-sharah: clothing and attire. Ash-shura: deliberation. In the Noble Book: 'And those who respond to their Lord, establish prayer, whose affair is by mutual consultation, and who spend from what We have provided them' (Ash-Shura, 38); the matter deliberated upon. Al-mashurah: the shura. Al-mashwarah: the shura.
