Definition Sly

Sly according to Al-Qamus al-Fiqhi

Saliya in the Fire, or into it, in sulyyan or silyyan: to burn therein. In the Noble Quran: 'Have you not seen those who exchanged the favour of Allah for disbelief and settled their people in the home of ruin: Hell, which they will burn in (yaslawna)? Miserable is the resting place!' (Ibrahim, 28-29). And also: 'By your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils, then We will bring them around Hell upon their knees. Then We will extract from every party whichever of them was most intense against the Merciful. And We know best who is most worthy to burn in it (siliyyan)' (Maryam, 68-70).
