Definition Snm

Snm according to Al-Qamus al-Fiqhi

Sanama the building, in sanaman: to rise; it is then sanim. Sanama the camel: its hump bone rose. Sanama the thing: to raise and elevate it above the surface of the ground, like the hump, without levelling it; one says: sanama the grave (raised it). Sanama the vessel: to fill it until it rises above its rim like a hump. At-tasnim: the opposite of levelling; a water of Paradise. In the Noble Quran: '... and its mixture is of Tasnim: a spring from which those brought near drink' (Al-Mutaffifin, 27-28). It was so named because it flows above the dwellings and palaces; it is the noblest drink of the people of Paradise and the highest. As-sanam: lumps of fat heaped upon the back of the camel and the she-camel (plural: asnamah); the highest part of every thing; the middle of the earth.
