📖 1 min readTowards you: to claim to be your kinsman. Al-nasab: kinship. One says: between them is a nasab, that is, kinship, whether marriage between them be lawful or not. (plural) ansab. In the Quran: [al-Furqan, 54: 'And He it is who created from water a human being, and made him kin by blood and kin by marriage; your Lord is powerful.']. Al-Farra' said: the nasab is he with whom marriage is not lawful, and the sihr he with whom it is. Kinship, used only for boasting.
