Definition Wqa

Wqa according to Al-Qamus al-Fiqhi

The thing, in the forms wiqyan and wiqaya, and waqiya: to guard it from harm and keep it. In the Quran: [at-Tahrim, 6: 'O you who believe, save yourselves and your families from a fire whose fuel is men and stones, over which are angels harsh and stern, who do not disobey Allah in what He commands them and do what they are commanded.'], that is: fear Allah the Most High and enjoin upon your families the fear of Allah, teach them and discipline them, and Allah will deliver you from the fire.
