The lam al-ism: definition

It is the lam found in a word containing one of the marks of the noun or able to take one, and it is always medial and original: that is, of the structure of the word, as in: أَلْسِنَتِكُمْ, وَأَلْوَانِكُمْ, سَلْسَبِيلاً, سُلْطَانٌ.

The ruling of the lam al-ism

Its ruling: obligatory izhaar without condition.
