This chapter gathers the obligations (wajibat) of Hajj and the questions surrounding them, from the sheets of the encyclopedia of fiqh (al-Mawsou'a al-fiqhiyya). Fourteen sheets confront the positions of the 4 schools (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i, Hanbali) with their evidence: quotations from the imams and their commentators, takhrij of the hadiths in Bukhari and Muslim with their numbers, and classical references in parentheses. The topics run from merely passing by Muzdalifah to the farewell tawaf, taking in the timing of the stoning, shaving or shortening, the nights of Mina and the obligations dependent on other rites.
