Al-hasana: the opposite of the evil deed (sayyi'ah), in word or deed (plural: hasanat). In the Noble Quran: 'The good deed and the evil deed are not equal. Repel (evil) with what is better: then the one between whom and you was enmity will be as an intimate friend' (Fussilat, 34). The blessing, the favour.
