Ghr according to Al-Qamus al-Fiqhi

The man 'garrara, garra': to be ignorant of matters and heedless of them, he being garr (inexperienced). Someone 'gharra, ghururan': to deceive him and feed him falsehood; one says the devil's beguilement and the like, and the world beguiled him (gharrathu ad-dunya); it is ghurur (deception); he is maghur and gharir. One says 'ma gharraka bi-kadha' (what emboldened you to this): what emboldened you to it; in the Qur'an: 'O man, what has deluded you concerning your noble Lord (gharraka), who created you, fashioned you, and proportioned you' (al-Infitar, 6-7). Someone: 'he hit upon his gharata (unwary moment)' and obtained from him what he wanted.
