Definition Thr

Thr according to Al-Qamus al-Fiqhi

'Tuhran, tahara': negation of impurity and filth; being free of all that is unseemly. The menstruating woman or the one in childbed: her blood stopped, or she bathed from menstruation and the like; in the Qur'an: 'they ask you about menstruation; say: it is a hurt; so keep away from women during menstruation and do not approach them until they are pure (yathurna); when they have purified themselves (tatahharna), come to them as God has commanded you; God loves the repentant and loves those who purify themselves' (al-Baqara, 222). Tahura: he became pure; opening the ha' is more evident. Tatahhara: he purified himself; in the Qur'an: 'a mosque founded upon piety from the first day is more worthy that you stand in it; in it are men who love to purify themselves, and God loves those who purify themselves' (at-Tawba, 108).
