Definition Al-ʿmrya

Al-ʿmrya according to Kitab at-Ta'rifat (Al-Jurjani)

Similar to the Wasilites, except that they declared both factions to be defiantly disobedient regarding the affair of Uthman ibn Affan and Ali, may Allah be pleased with both of them. They are affiliated with Amr ibn Ubayd, who was one of the narrators of Hadith, known for his asceticism, and who followed Wasil ibn Ata in the fundamentals, while adding to it the generalization of declaring them corrupt.

Al-ʿmrya according to Mu'jam al-Mustalahat al-Fiqhiyya

An issue among the issues of inheritance law. The majority of jurists express it as al-umariyya. It has two scenarios for a single case.
