Definition Al-wʿy

Al-wʿy according to Mufradat (Ar-Raghib)

It is holding a thing in oneself.

Al-wʿy according to At-Tawqif (Al-Munawi)

Keeping the hadith and the like.

Al-wʿy in the Quran

﴿إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّـٰتٍۢ وَعُيُونٍ

« Indeed, the righteous will be within gardens and springs. »

Surah الحجر : 45

﴿فَأَخْرَجْنَـٰهُم مِّن جَنَّـٰتٍۢ وَعُيُونٍۢ

« So We removed them from gardens and springs »

Surah الشعراء : 57

﴿وَجَنَّـٰتٍۢ وَعُيُونٍ

« And gardens and springs. »

Surah الشعراء : 134

﴿فِى جَنَّـٰتٍۢ وَعُيُونٍۢ

« Within gardens and springs »

Surah الشعراء : 147

﴿كَمْ تَرَكُوا۟ مِن جَنَّـٰتٍۢ وَعُيُونٍۢ

« How much they left behind of gardens and springs »

Surah الدخان : 25

﴿فِى جَنَّـٰتٍۢ وَعُيُونٍۢ
