Definition Zhq

Zhq according to Al-Qamus al-Fiqhi

Zahaqa, in zuhuqan and zahūqan: to outstrip and go before. Zahaqa the falsehood: to vanish and fade away; it is zāhiq and zahaq. In the Noble Quran: 'Say: the truth has come and the falsehood has vanished: indeed falsehood is bound to vanish' (Al-Isra', 81). Zahaqat his soul, in zahaqan: it departed. The original sense of zuhūq is to depart with difficulty. In the Noble Revelation: 'Let not their wealth or their children amaze you: Allah only intends to punish them through them in the life of this world, and that their souls should depart (tazhaqa) while they are unbelievers' (At-Tawbah, 55), that is: that their souls go forth.
