Biography of Asawd ibn Imran

Aswad ibn 'Imrān al-Bakrī from Bakr ibn Wā'il from Rabī'ah, and it was said: 'Imrān ibn al-Aswad.

He came as a delegate to the Prophet ﷺ.

His ḥadīth is reported by Ḥukām ibn Sulaym, on the authority of 'Amr ibn Abī Qays, on the authority of Maysarah al-Nahdī, on the authority of Abū al-Muḥajjal, on the authority of 'Imrān ibn al-Aswad, or al-Aswad ibn 'Imrān, who said: I was the messenger of my people to the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ and their representative, when they entered Islam and gave their pledge.

The three of them reported him, and Abū 'Umar said: There is criticism regarding its chain of narration.
