Jundub ibn Ka'b

Jundub ibn Ka'b ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Ghunm ibn Jaz' ibn 'Amir ibn Malik ibn Dhuhal ibn Tha'laba ibn Tha'labah ibn Ghaym al-Azdi then al-Ghamdi, and it was said that his lineage was otherwise, and he is one of the Jundub of the Azd, and he is the killer of the sorcerer according to the majority, and among those who said this are al-Kalbi and al-Bukhari.

He was narrated from by al-Hasan.

We were informed by Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn Mihran al-Faqih, and others, who said according to their isnad from Muhammad ibn Isa: We were informed by Ahmad ibn Mani', We were informed by Abu Mu'awiya, from Ismail ibn Muslim, from al-Hasan, from Jundub, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The limit of the sorcerer is a blow with the sword.
