Hudhayfah al-Qal'ani

B: Hudhayfa al-Qal'ani narrated by Abu 'Umar, who said: I do not know him to be known by more than that Abu Bakr al-Siddiq removed 'Akrama b. Abi Jahl from 'Imran, and sent him to Yemen, and appointed Hudhayfa al-Qal'ani over 'Imran. He did not leave until Abu Bakr died.

Narrated by Abu 'Umar, and corrected in what we have seen of the manuscripts, which is in a state of great health with the qaf, lam, and 'ayn. I am doubtful about it, and al-Tabari mentioned him, saying: Hudhayfa b. Mahsin al-Ghulfani, with the qaf, lam, and fa', and he has many signs of his bravery in fighting the Persians, and 'Umar appointed him over al-Yamama.
