If I hear of your emergence, I will come to you. He delayed from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ until the day of the conquest of Mecca, he came to him, and when the Prophet ﷺ saw him he said: 'Welcome to the first migrant.' He said: O Messenger of Allah, what prevented me from being the first to come to you, and I am a believer in you, not a denier of your mission, nor a breaker of your covenant, and I have believed in the Quran, and I have disbelieved in the idols, except that after you we experienced harsh and prolonged years, and he mentioned a long hadith.
