Ziyad ibn Tariq

Dhahabi: Ziyad b. Tariq, and it is said: Tariq b. Ziyad, and this is correct.

He was narrated by Ibn Mandah, and Abu Nu'aym, briefly.

Bukhari: Ziyad b. Abdullah al-Ansari is counted among the people of Kufa, and he narrated that the Prophet ﷺ sent Abdullah b. Rawahah, so he deceived the people of Khaybar, and he did not find them, he erred in his judgment.
